TruckShowX 2026 Program Charging Ahead!

HVIA is excited to reveal a raft of new speakers, exhibitors and drive-day participants locked in for the much-anticipated TruckShowX 2026 to be held on May 18-19, 2026 at Rydges Resort in regional NSW’s Hunter Valley.

A spin-off of the hugely successful Brisbane Truck Show, the 2026 event will centre around the theme ‘Driving the Future’ and build on the key trends emerging from the recent 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, especially the potential for technology and innovation to boost productivity, efficiency, safety and environmental outcomes.

The program will include real-world case studies from the industry’s prime movers about how they are transforming their businesses through innovation and technology, a technology and capability expo, opportunities to drive the latest zero- and low-emissions vehicles, and a lively social program.

Leading the program are OEMs Volvo Trucks Australia, Daimler Truck, Hino Australia and Foton/KRW Group, which will have their latest zero- and low-emissions vehicles on display as well as available for the drive day program. All will also share real-world implementation projects of their trucks in Australia as part of TruckShowX 2026’s speaker program.

Joining them will be global fleet electrification specialists Zenobe, which will share the story behind its development of Australia’s first off-site truck charging hub in Sydney for Woolworths; and charging solutions providers EVSE Australia and Go EV.

On the powertrain front, leading integrated power solutions provider Cummins Asia Pacific will showcase its industry-first series of engine platforms and present on the benefits of fully-integrated powertrains; alongside power management company Eaton.

What’s more, TruckShowX 2026’s new dedicated trailer display is filling fast, with Barker Trailers set to showcase its latest moving floor semi-trailer, designed to improve safety and productivity by eliminating driver interaction with the loading and unloading task; and VE Motion, a pioneering force in the transportation electrification sector, to display its ground-breaking powered trailer capabilities and trials.

Additionally, Australian transport refrigeration specialist Protran Solutions is bringing an innovative solar-powered refrigerated trailer to the show. No prototype, the UK-made Sunswap Endurance is already a proven performer, delivering fresh food for major UK and EU retailers – and through Protran Solutions’ exclusive Australian distribution partnership, the technology is finally arriving where it was arguably always destined to thrive.

Leading-edge technology will also be a key focus of TruckShowX 2026, with WHG, a leading Australian provider of connected vehicle technologies, ready to reveal initial findings of its real-world trial of FleetPREDICT, a smart-wearable-based fatigue platform which offers a predictive, non-invasive alternative to camera-based systems, using biometric data to issue early alerts before fatigue or impairment becomes a risk.

Adam Ritzinger, HVIA’s Chief Technical Officer and Conference Technical Program Manager for TruckShowX 2026, says these are just a taste of things to come, with the HVIA team inundated with requests from all corners of the industry to be part of the event.

“The amount of interest in next year’s event has been overwhelming. We created a diverse set of themes for the conference program that replicated the most prominent talking points at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show, and it is pleasing to see that they have really resonated with the industry,” he says.

Limited sponsorship opportunities also exist, from Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsorships to sponsorships of individual events including the golf day, lunches and morning teas. See here for more information.
