
The inaugural Silverback Show ‘N’ Shine National Championship continues to generate a massive response, racking up in excess of one million views and more than 16,000 reactions so far on Facebook alone.
A part of Truck Week 25, the showcase of Australia’s best custom rigs has proven hugely popular with truck fans right across the country since the first of the 28 finalists was revealed on March 29.
Combined Facebook views of the 13 trucks divulged to date hit more than 1.2 million as of April 30, with Mactrans Heavy Haulage’s limited-edition 2020 Mack Super-Liner still leading the way on an incredible 216,632 views and 2,390 reactions!

Following hot on its heels is Auswide Transport Solutions’ stunning 2021 Kenworth T909, ‘Karma’, which has attracted 195,726 views and 1,548 reactions to date, just ahead of Nick Gierish’s custom 2021 T909 with its unique 60-inch flat roof at 185,948 views and 1,655 reactions.
Also generating a huge response are Robinson Earthmoving’s impeccable 1987 Mack Super-Liner with a 65-inch Aero1 bunk (117,802 views, 1,736 reactions), Cesare Colli’s classic 1981 White Road Boss (73,092 views, 761 reactions), and Lisa and Marty Rasmussen’s epic Kenworth W925 (72,253 views, 1,178 reactions).
The remaining lineup of trucks will be revealed in the lead up to the show – and includes an impressive array of iconic brands drawn from the winner’s circle of the top community-based show ‘n’ shine events held around the country – Koroit, Castlemaine and Alexandra in Victoria, Bathurst and Casino in NSW, Brisbane’s Convoy For Kids and Matty Hillcoat’s Truckies Day Out in Queensland, and the Mack Muster & Truck Show in WA.

As well as getting to check out these amazing works of art first-hand, Brisbane Truck Show attendees will also have the chance to vote for what they believe is the best truck on show – the People’s Choice Champion 2025 sponsored by Slattery Advisory. A panel of experts will also choose the Silverback Champion of Champions 2025 Award for what they judge to be the best truck on show.
