Show ‘N’ Shine Sparks Massive Response

If social media is anything to go by, the inaugural Silverback Show ‘N’ Shine National Championship is shaping up as a highlight of the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show.

A part of Truck Week 25, the showcase of Australia’s best custom rigs has attracted a massive response on social media since the first of the 28 finalists was revealed on March 29.

Combined views of the first five trucks divulged has hit almost half a million! Engagement has also been huge with almost 7,000 interactions (likes, comments, shares) to date! Check out the BTS25 Facebook page for more on the trucks revealed so far.

Topping the response so far is a limited-edition 2020 Mack Super-Liner owned by Faadhil Deen of Mactrans Heavy Haulage, an outfit renowned for big loads and bold trucks, which has garnered over 200,000 views alone!

Following hot on its heels is a classic 1981 White Road Boss owned by Cesare Colli of WA’s Colli Timber & Hardware which has racked up close to 70,000 views so far; and a 1987 Kenworth W925 owned by Lisa and Marty Rasmussen of Moura in Queensland which has attracted an impressive 65,000 views.

The remaining lineup of trucks will be revealed over the next six weeks in the lead up to the show – and includes an impressive array of iconic brands drawn from the winner’s circle of the top community-based show ‘n’ shine events held around the country – Koroit, Castlemaine and Alexandra in Victoria, Bathurst and Casino in NSW, Brisbane’s Convoy For Kids and Matty Hillcoat’s Truckies Day Out in Queensland, and the Mack Muster & Truck Show in WA.

As well as getting to check out these amazing works of art first-hand, Brisbane Truck Show attendees will also have the chance to vote for what they believe is the best truck on show – the People’s Choice Champion 2025 sponsored by Slattery Advisory. A panel of experts will also choose the Champion of Champions 2025 award for what they judge to be the best truck on show.

Keep an eye out on the BTS socials for more info on the epic lineup of trucks competing in the first-ever Silverback Show ‘N’ Shine National Championship – and how to cast your vote!
