The lineup for the 2025 Heritage Truck Show just gets bigger and better, with this beautiful Atkinson set to be on display at the upcoming event.
Purchased in 2014 and restored over two years this classic rig is owned by Brad Heppel. Running a 335 horsepower Cummins engine, running through a 15-speed overdrive Eaton gearbox, the old girl sits on Hendrickson suspension.
Brad’s father drove an Atkinson during the mid-80s for K&S Freighters, with Brad travelling alongside every school holidays, doing overnight express to Sydney and Melbourne.
His dad purchased this truck in 2014 and restored it over two years, painting it in similar colours to his earlier K&S truck.

With Brad now being the owner of the Atkinson, he is very proud of what his father did during his years on the road.
This outstanding truck will be on display at the Heritage Trucks Association Australia’s show to be held on May 17-18 at Rocklea Showgrounds alongside the Brisbane Truck Show as part of Truck Week 25.
